Booking requests

When you request a transfer we store your name, email, WhatsApp number, trip details (routes, dates, times, pickup and drop-off places, flight number, passengers and luggage) and notes so our team can confirm and operate your transfer. We also store how you reached us (campaign tags such as utm_source, and a Google Ads click ID where allowed) to understand which advertising works.

Anti-abuse checks

Our forms use an invisible Cloudflare Turnstile check to block spam and automated abuse. Cloudflare processes limited technical data (such as your IP address and browser signals) for this security check only.

Analytics and advertising

For visitors outside the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion tracking to measure visits, price views, booking starts, booking requests and WhatsApp clicks. Google receives this data as our processor and for ad measurement. We do not load these tools for visitors in those regions, or when your region cannot be determined.

You can opt out at any time with Google's Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com) or the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser.

Cookie policy

We keep cookies to a minimum:

• Strictly necessary: the anti-abuse check above may set a security cookie so the form works.
• Preferences: we remember your language choice (English or Spanish) in your browser's local storage. This is not a cookie and never leaves your device.
• Analytics and advertising cookies: set by Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads only for visitors outside the EEA, UK and Switzerland, as described above.

We do not use cookies to track you across other websites, and we do not sell your information to anyone.

How long we keep your data

Booking information is kept while your reservation is active and for the time our tax and accounting obligations in Costa Rica require. You can ask us to delete it earlier (see below).

Your rights

Email info@ticotrekker.com to access, correct or delete your booking information, or to ask any question about this policy. We reply within a few business days.
